Joan's STORY
Sharing the View
Joan bought this house in 1965 and spent every summer here.
She enjoyed the “island way of life.”
From the waterside deck she watched the lobstermen hauling their traps, and experienced the wildlife while she gardened. But mostly, Joan enjoyed sharing this house with her beloved family and friends who visited often. She always had a spare bed ready for whomever wanted to take in the sights with her. She felt the only thing that made the stunning sunsets more beautiful was cherishing them with her grandchildren.
As Joan’s bright light set beyond the horizon, her spirit lives on... In every hummingbird that feeds at her flowers, in every lobster dinner, and in that first star that shines in the periwinkle twilight...
...but mostly in sharing the view with others.
